2005年12月27日 · thanks guys! i took a old cheap chinese knife with cracked bone handles and tried several different things last night. i found a glue used in taxidermy that makes sort of a resin paste, thinned it out, filled int he cracks then used stain to match it to the handle.

Well, the good news is the knife was a cheapie Ginsu which I probably paid less than $20 for the whole set, so no big loss. 2022年5月23日 · One the handle came off and judging the tang length it may have broken inside. The other the butt capp is gone and the ferrule is loose. The blade has come out a bit and is bent. Placing the ferrule on the handle it is clear there is no way as is the blade will mate up with it as is Anyone thing they can remove the old handles intact and repair?
