2018年2月24日 · Óbidos is further away from the other places you want to visit. And, depending on the time of the year (somewhat) it will be overrun by tourists. Nazaré isn’t my favorite place on the Silver coast but would be a better option than Obidos. São Martinho do Porto is another lovely small town on the coast.

There are local buses on weekdays to Valado from Nazaré bus station, website for times is http://rodoviariadooeste.pt/ you pay on the bus. The website is only in Portuguese.

Highlights of the Obidos region include the surfing beaches of Baleal (near Peniche), the monastery of Batalha, the traditional resort town of Nazaré and the Berlenga islands. To get the most from a holiday to Obidos, a car is recommended.
