Deebo was the neighborhood's dog-eat-dog thug and bruiser to every character, including Ice Cube's main character Craig Jones. He reprised the role in the film's sequel, Next Friday (2000), but did not appear in the third film of the series, Friday After Next (2002).

Deebo is the main antagonist of the Friday franchise. He is the intimidating bully of Craig Jones’ neighborhood, who takes things that don’t belong to him and assaults people with his brute strength causing them to fly and hit the ground, until he was defeated by Craig and arrested.
