Kumu Farms started as a small family farm on the island of Molokai in 1981 growing specialty produce such as culinary herbs and peppers for the local market. We now grow both organic & conventional produce, and are certified organic by Oregon Tilth.

When on Molokai, if you want fresh produce and fruit, Kumu Farms is the place to go. They make their living from the Papayas they sell, but they make everyone on Molokai happy with the fruit and veggies they offer.

Since 1981, Kumu Farms has served as the go-to place in Molokai for freshly grown produce and so much more. Home to both organic and conventional offerings, this farm never fails to delight with its wide array of tropical produce.

On Molokai we grow GMO-Free (Organic and Conventionally Grown) Sunrise Papaya, as well as bananas and other fresh produce for the local and US market. Kumu Farms cultivates over 60 acres of farmland at the Plantation.

Kumu Farms is an 120-acre farm in Ho`olehua, Molokaʻi. Grant Schule has owned the farm for more than 30 years making it one of Molokaʻi’s longest-standing and most successful farms. They have become Hawaii’s largest exporter of organic papaya to the U.S. mainland but also grow a variety of organic produce for the local community.
