Any advice for Snake skeleton? | Taxidermy.net Forum
2012年8月25日 · It is too late now as the maggots have already got to it. A snake skeleton is a horrendous nightmare to put back together. That is why you use dermestids. You skin and dry the carcass in the position you want, let it dry and then let the beetles have it. They will eat the flesh off the bone and leave the skeleton mostly still intact and assembled.

Other then that I had never had any luck with them. A whole skeleton is most likely going to be too much for them and the cleaning will be incomplete.
