The winged jet backpack was a variation of jetpack worn by clone sky troopers during the Clone Wars. The model was equipped with wings that extended before flight and was armed with two missile launchers. The wings were emblazoned with two Galactic Roundels.

A jet pack, rocket belt, rocket pack or flight pack is a device worn as a backpack which uses jets to propel the wearer through the air. The concept has been present in science fiction for almost a century and the first working experimental devices were demonstrated in the 1960s.

We remain the only authorized Jetpack instructors in the world. The JB 11 is powered by six turbo jet engines specially modified for vertical flight. Each engine produces approximately 90lbs of thrust.
