This 24" x 7" Banks-Style Simple Model Dory Kit is perfect for introducing beginners, including kids, to stitch-and-glue boatbuilding. Just like our larger boat kits, parts are CNC-cut from 3mm plywood, stitched together with copper wire, and glued up with epoxy.

CLC class kits differ from kits sold and shipped individually. While home-builders and class-builders end up with the same boat at the end, it doesn't start as the same boat kit that we ship to the folks at home. HOW WE SHIP BOAT KITS Boat kits are bulky. The packaging varies from one boat to the next, but most comprise one or two large cartons the shape and size of an eight-foot-tall door, accompanied by one or two smaller boxes with your epoxy kit and peripherals. The largest carton is rarely more than 60 pounds. We use a freight company for kit shipping.
