2009年7月27日 · Garmin 430s etc are loaded with percision approach data and it all works out. The Garmin provides the DME data with the freq loaded and VLOC for localizer guidance. You can't do that with a KLN 89 or 94 series IFR GPS. Look at the ILS/DME Rwy 25L at LAS. You can fly the approach using the KLN gps recievers.

2005年4月18日 · I'm sorry are you using a Garmin 430 or a Bendix/King KLN94? I don't remember the power up state of the active flight plan in a King GPS. If you are using the Garmin, then it is also true going Direct-to a waypoint in the active Flight Plan will sequence to the next, but going Direct-to a waypoint not in the flight plan does not sequence. I downloaded the Mac software from the link provided by chat support, installed it, fixed my card and reloaded the software. Thanks to the earlier posters for their information.

2021年5月16日 · FYI: I'm going from distant memory, but your 430 has the correct TSO 129a to go IFR and there is a Garmin STC for the 430 however it was just for a single Piper model. If I recall we simply got a copy of that 430 STC, Garmin AFM supplement, 430 install instructions and installed the unit accordingly.
