Alastor knows that he can't win in the Being Powerful and Having Resources department compared to Lucifer, so he urgently needs to interrupt with SOMETHING. And it helps a lot that he pokes at Lucifer's weak point, being an absent father, to remind Charlie that Lucifer isn't reliable.

Lucifer. Alastor is smart and more powerful than the average sinnner. However, he lost against Adam and nearly died. Lucifer almost killed Adam and would’ve done it if it weren’t for Charlie. I think it’d be a tough fight, since Alastor knows how to play with Lucifer’s emotions, but Lucifer would come out on top.

Lucifer's power level can kind of be guaged by how he reacts to Alastor challenging him vs other characters. With Husk, Alastor makes the power gap clear. Same thing with Vox, a fellow overlord, who has to spend the rest of his song defending himself the moment Alastor joins in.

Alastor was banking that Charlie wouldn’t let Lucifer severely harm him/Lucifer would hold back because he was aware how damaging that would be to his already perilous relationship with his daughter. Alastor was worked up enough that he lost his cool, too, though, and is very lucky he didn’t get bitch slapped through a wall.

Alastor is on Lilith's leash and thus likely bound to protect Charlie and her hotel. Probably made a deal to learn how he could usurp lucifer Alastor has been scheming on a way to break this leash for the whole of these 7 years and come up wholly empty handed. But now he's finally come up with a way to do so. But every piece must fit perfectly.

Of course, Alastor maybe also sensed that by making Lucifer jealous of Alastor’s “fatherly influence” that Lucifer would step up as a father figure out of spite. Lucifer supporting Charlie = Hazbin Hotel continues = Somehow furthering Alastor’s schemes = Win for Alastor.

2019年11月15日 · By giving Alastor a similar getup to Lucifer, HH signals to us that this is, for all intents and purposes, a deal with the devil--except it's not the devil himself, but a particular sinner. It's also possible that Alastor is secretly working for Lucifer somehow, so in making a deal with Alastor, Charlie is indirectly making a deal with her father.

2024年3月23日 · Alastor almost died the moment Adam put in some effort meanwhile Lucifer was playing with him while Adam was pissed and almost killed him when he got angry himself. Also Alastor most certainly did not just conjure the hotel idk where you got that from.
