Arthur Curry Jr. was born the son of the Atlantean King Aquaman, and his wife Mera. Although he primarily remained within the Aquacave and Atlantis, he also participated in adventures with his ocean dwelling parents.

Arthur Curry, Jr. otherwise known as Junior, is the son of Arthur Curry and Mera. Arthur Jr. would be born in the surf, near the lighthouse in Maine, with the aid of his grandmother Atlanna and his grandfather Tom filming the event. Jr. is a baby and can be easily amused.

Arthur Curry Jr. was the son of Aquaman (Arthur Curry) and Queen Mera. He had the ability to create life out of water. His uncle was the Ocean Master, the half brother of Arthur Curry.

Early in his career, Aquaman found an orphaned boy from Tritonis named Garth. Aquaman took Garth under his wing and dubbed him Aqualad. Over the years, Orin came to regard Garth as his own son. Aquaman begat his own family line when he met an amphibian woman from an alien dimension named Mera.
