2014年5月20日 · If everyone wants to only play as white then that we would too bad, since there would be no games played. However, I don't think that would happen. For my part, I only wish to play as black and, unfortunately, chess.com does not seem to give me this option, as of yet. Hopefully, in the future, it will be able to do this, as a setting option.

2019年11月12日 · I'm just curious. When playing with a glass chess set, which side is White: the clear or frosted pieces? My glass set has clear and milky-frosted pieces and board. I used to think that the clear pieces were White because they were transparent and the frosted pieces Black because they were opague. Clear was the lighter color in my mind.

2009年5月27日 · The queen goes on its own colour so it is important to have a white square on the right so the queen is on the right side. If you have it set up with the dark square on the right corner you could easily rectify the strategy by having the black pieces move first then everything would be ok and strategically correct.

2010年11月12日 · The pieces I got were the Zurich series from USCF (black and natural) and this is a heavy set! The pieces are really nice to look at, too. Between the boards, the vinyl is a lot better looking (grn/wht) and the pieces slide nicely on the board.
