The XPS 13 finds the monitor correctly and gives the correct resolution to use, but still no picture - hence I thought it was a DP version issue. So I found out the monitor is factory configured to DP1.4 and the D6000 sends DP1.2, then I was on a mission to find out how to switch it.

Hopefully in the future Dell will start calling out DisplayPort HBR level support in the documentation of their actual PCs so that people can plan accordingly upfront rather than having to buy an HBR3-capable display that shows this information in order to figure it out.
