To adjust the Screen resolution while in Dual Monitor mode you will have to bring each monitor into focus as the primary monitor to have access to theses settings as they will be greyed out when it is in Extended mode, or if another monitor is set to display. I was going to view the screen on the laptop and talk about it and respond to questions, and they were going to just look at the monitor, so we both needed to see the same screen.

2019年2月20日 · Windows will detect the external monitor and will set it up as a secondary display on the left of my laptop screen. However the external monitor is physically located above my laptop so I have to go to Display Settings and move the secondary display on top of primary display. Day 2 I move to Desk B. Again I had to the same thing.

2019年7月2日 · Dual monitors - I do not want them to mirror each other or extend. Each display works independently of the other - there is not option for this in display settings - multiple displays. It was set up this way before a vacation, so I know its possible!

Finally, all your screens should turn white with a this text in the middle of the primary screen "Tap this screen with a single finger to identify it as the touch screen. If this is not the table PC screen, Press Enter to move to the next screen". Press Enter until you get to the monitor you want to use as a touch screen.

2024年2月13日 · I have a ThinkPad with windows 10 (1st display) and a Samsung monitor (2nd display), I use them as extended displays and connect them with an HDMI cord. When I plug in the keyboard and Mouse into my laptop’s USB Ports, they work fine on both displays. However, they can control my laptop and they take up it’s ports, I don’t want this.
