If you have taken apart a Gen 4 or earlier it's pretty much the same thing, minus the slide lock which is super easy by using a long thin pick to depress the spring and slide the part out.

2017年10月8日 · I found the sweet spot for the Gen 5 trigger pin removal !!!!! Used the end of a plastic Pilot pen to press down on the Slide Stop Lever between the two Locking Block ears. Then just a little pressure with my Glock Tool on the trigger pin. No hammer, no abnormal pressure. Thanks so much.

2017年9月7日 · The Gen 5 has the same secret as the Glock 42/43. If you press down on the arm of the slide stop with your thumbnail, as close to the locking block as you can get it, the trigger pin will easily push out.

2023年5月28日 · Found an older thread on that and seems some have received new Gen 5 Glocks with the ambi slide lever spring installed incorrectly. I disassembled the frame and removed and reinstalled the spring and now the lever snaps back down much quicker, just like my G45’s always have.

2021年9月27日 · Hello, I'm new here and to Glock pistols. I recently purchased a G19 Gen 5 and after disassembling it for cleaning it I noticed the spring assembly was out of position. I put it back in the correct position and reassembled the slide to the frame. I pulled the trigger dry firing and removed the slide to find it back out of position.

2024年12月23日 · The two RSAs pictured in Post 1 have since been revised by Glock. What-is-actually-different is unknown to me and Glock doesn't often disclose what those changes are. Glock has been changing RSAs and other parts over the years without much notice. The changes don't particularly make the older parts bad/defective.

2021年4月7日 · I was ordering a few things from Midway & decided to throw in a Lone Wolf extended slide lock lever. It said it was Gen 5 compatible for my G17. After receiving it, I looked up a video on installation & found one from Cross Armory. In the video, the narrator mentions that Gen 5's have different geometry & older designs may not work correctly.
