2008年7月18日 · The secret is the blotting, not rubbing action used to remove the stain. Rubbing only embeds the stain deeper. (My husband rubs all spills vigorously and makes it worse but after far too long doing this he's hopeless.) Keep spraying with water and blotting until the towels or cloths come up clean. Stain gone! It just takes water and patience.

2013年12月25日 · OP, I suggest that you hire a real carpet cleaner to come in and clean your carpets for you, right now. Get someone who does a deep steam clean and who will treat spots. A cat puke spot should come out of the carpet if properly treated. The places where your feet and food have dirtied the carpet in front of your sofa should come out.

The secret is to do it quickly before the dye they put in the cat food stains the carpet. If there is any residual odor (as evidenced by cats trying to "cover up" the spot), we spray some Petastic on it (better than Nature's Miracle, IMHO).

If you perceive a stain, apply spray Resolve carpet cleaner on the spot, let it soak in, then using a microfiber cloth soak up and lift residue. Don't scrub hard.

2014年8月5日 · If the floors have adequate finish, the cat will be vomiting on the finish rather than the wook. As others have said, you should be able to clean it up with no lasting effects. Most people with unfinished floors would probably appreciate the character a cat vomit stain would add.
