2002年2月14日 · FotR, p.324 '"For the Sword that was Broken is the Sword of Elendil that broke beneath him when he fell. It has been treasured by his heirs when all other heirlooms were lost; for it was spoken of old among us that it whould be made again when the Ring , Isildur's Bane , …
Why did the Dunidain keep Narsil broken instead of having it …
2005年1月6日 · Narsil was more likely an export piece, that's basically my assumption when I say that it likely passed through the hands of one of Feanor's sons. Insert pinch of salt here. Actually I was thinking about this subject a few nights back and came up with the theory that Narsil was in fact a short-sword later reworked by an lesser craftsman into a ...

The doom of Narsil? - The Tolkien Forum
2002年4月27日 · Who made this prophecy for Narsil/Anduril? Usually, one would think that the maker of a weapon lay a doom upon it, if any. But surely Telchar can't have done that, since the line of Numenor didn't even exist at the time of the making of the sword (1st Age). It is also quite hard to believe that Aragorn would simply make up something like that.
