Welcome to The Old School Gallery, a hidden gem in the charming village of Alnmouth on the Northumberland coast. Housed in a beautifully restored village school dating from 1872. Our gallery showcases exceptional fine art, printmaking and illustration.

This year we are delighted to offer again our residency programme at Shoreside Huts. This is a reduced accommodation rate especially for artists and creatives, offering 50% off a 4 night midweek (Monday - Friday) stay between November 2025 and March 2026.

Based in a beautiful old school building, we have a unique and inspiring collection of affordable art and prints by artists from Northumberland and further afield. We are always sourcing pictures that would look great in the home – we hope you like them too!
