Looking at an '03 B5.5 wagon. I know the motors are different, and there are some slight styling differences, but what else? Can I swap the leather interior out of my B5 into a B5.5?

2006年1月12日 · In other words, I've seend on some other Passat B5 with half FIS that when, for example, the driver door is open, on the cluster is written: "Fron Left door is open", or similar. In my B5.5 indeed when I open the driver door, only a Red light with a little car symbor is lighted. Only if I open the back door a string is displayed "Read door open".

2010年10月3日 · Quattro and 4Motion (or Syncro in older B5) are just marketing names for 4WD systems. You can't tell which design 4WD is in your car just by looking at the badge in the back. So comparing B5/B5.5 4WD to a "Audi Quattro" is wrong. Both Audi and VW uses torsen and haldex systems depending on the chassis type. Haldex is not torque based, torsen is.
