Pommern is in her own quay by the the Åland Maritime Museum. The Museum is located on Hamngatan 2 in Mariehamn’s Western Harbour, only 500 metres from the ferry terminal and 1 km from the town centre. On Pommern we welcome groups of all kinds.

2017年9月18日 · Docked in the western harbor – Västra Hamnen – S/V Pommern is a large sailing ship or Windjammer. It is the only large sailing ship of its class that is still floating and has been preserved in its original shape. Today it is one of the main symbols for Mariehamn as well as the Åland Islands.

Below the Badhusparken in the western harbor of Mariehamn lies the barque Pommern, one of the few remaining sailing ships in the world. She lies there quietly, reminding us of Mariehamn’s bygone days as the home port for the large sailing fleets once owned by Åland’s shipowners.

Nedanför Badhusparken i Mariehamns västra hamn ligger barken Pommern som är en av de få segelskutorna som finns kvar i världen. Hon ligger där stilla och påminner oss om Mariehamns svunna tider som hemma-hamn för de stora segelflottor redarna på Åland en gång hade.
