Where's That Damn Fourth Chaos Emerald? is a line spoken by the character Shadow the Hedgehog in the 2005 video game of the same name. Due to the use of the word "damn" and the way the line was delivered, it has become a popular in-joke in the Sonic the Hedgehog fanbase.

2023年10月17日 · Am i the only one that seems to have a bug on trying to get the fourth emerald? Supposedly it's at Pinball Carnival Act 1 but when i get to the giant ring it's blue in colour and it asks me to collect the token instead of the fourth emerald. It's in act 2.

Aside from the fact it's the first one he uses, it's also aesthetically pleasing on the eyes to contrast his red. Also a fun fact, in Sonic Generations, the arrangement of chaos emeralds in the corner of the hub world hud shows the green one as the Fourth one. Just thought that was funny.
