The 1957 cab: is a '57 only part, the main difference is the hinge location for the doors, and the battery being in the floor. 2024年9月25日 · In 1956 Dodge passenger models, the standard V8 was a 270 poly. Optional was a 315 poly and 315 hemi (D-500). 1957 Dodge passenger got 325 (aka “326”) poly and D-500 325 hemi V8. The 241 thru 270 were low deck, the 315/325 were high deck. Another quirk….1957 DeSoto poly V8 was the same engine as used in the ‘57 Dodge.

2010年1月31日 · I HAVE A 57 DODGE 2.5 TON AND ITS GOT THE ORIG. 315 POLY .pwr steering and hydro-vac brake was option for that year . flat window glass is cheap to have made from local glass shop. front windshields are still available.so dont sweat broken glass but it helps you to bargin on the price.The orig. mirrors are hard to get. 2006年3月29日 · Picked up a '57 Dodge Hemi 325 cid out of a truck. Would like to put it in my '32 Plymouth 5 window but was wondering if anyone knows if any aftermarket manifolds were ever made for this engine. Wouldn't mind putting a multiple carb manifold (2x2, 3x2, 4x2, etc.) or possibly a blower setup on it.

2009年2月20日 · I just parted out one of these trucks in 1/2 ton, and I learned alot. The doors and hood are unique to 57, and will come off the 1/2 ton panel and all sizes of truck up to 800 and 900 series big trucks. The fenders do interchange with other years though, in case you need them. I still have the hood from this truck. No doors though.

2010年8月10日 · in my 55 Dodge truck project, I am running a 1972 Chrysler New New Yorker drive train, a 440 and 727. I have a shifter mechanism from a 57 Dodge truck, the actual shifter guts and dash mounted "pod". When I rebuilt the 727, I bought a kit from Imperial services in Michigan, they have many cable and retro fit kits.

2010年5月8日 · According to Leo's book, this casting number was used on both 1957 passenger (would have been a 325) and Dodge truck 315, which were built from '56 thru '59 I believe. As for the 1734049 heads, both that number and 1730541 are listed as used on 1956 D500.
