2011年6月28日 · The ability of Word to use any paper size is dictated by the printer driver and not the application. Word can only format what the current printer driver will allow. If the driver does not have a particular envelope size then use the next larger size and make any adjustments to the layout using the margins.

Why is it that when I print on 7.25 by 5.25 envelopes the print doesn't align to the return address and to address? I set the envelope custom size and tried this with Mail Merge, Microsoft Templates (One is already a custom for this size - see Wedding Invite Envelope template) also tried without mail merge (Mailing/Envelopes).

It has always been a rather overcomplicated process, but I added instructions to myself on my envelope templates to remind me how to achieve the results I wanted. 2011年3月7日 · I'm seeing the same thing. Apparently 6.4" is the minimum size required by Word (or rather the printer driver). You will need to set the size to 6.4" x 4.38" and then, when you close the Envelope Options and Envelope dialog and have an envelope on the screen, go into Page Setup and add 0.65" (6.4" - 5.75") to the left margin.

The delivery address on an envelope uses a style called Envelope Address. This style includes a frame that is defined as Exactly 1.38" high. You can increase the size of the frame. The easiest way to do this is to deal with the envelope directly (as opposed to trying to work from within the Envelopes dialog).
