2012年11月6日 · I keep coming back to the AirPods Max. Yes they AirPods Pro 2 are very good earbuds, but they can't compete for sound with AirPods Max simply due to driver size. The APMs have a MUCH wider soundstage, more satisfying bass and crisper highs. The sound just feels bigger and more 'authentic'. The APP2s are smaller sounding, much smaller soundstage.

2021年9月19日 · I tried out AirPods max today and when I turned on the Noise cancelling I felt a strong pressure inside my ear. Like when you can’t equalise them pressure on a flight. After a minute or so it made me so nauseated I actually wretched a bit. Broken I thought. So tried another pair and another. I tried 4 pairs all the same.

Connecting via the cable means you're getting uncompressed audio out of the source (probably at 24-bit/44.8khz, but possibly 16-bit/48kHz), which is absolutely an improvement over the AAC streaming you get over wireless.
