2023年8月14日 · Auburn, or “A-town,” as the locals call it, is one of the most attractive places in King County, Washington. This city, situated between Tacoma and Seattle, started in the 1850s under the eerie name “Slaughter,” and its hotel was called the “Slaughter House”.

Auburn is one of the oldest towns in the Pacific Northwest and one of Washington’s earliest cities, dating back to 1891. Though it is one of the state’s fastest growing metropolitan areas, Auburn still prides itself on its hometown feel.
