2008年11月19日 · from eastern oregon here. what snag said....i have gotten close kills with levis and a old cabelos grey camo pattern shirt. i also use a leafy shirt.sometimes camoed pants and camoed long sleeved t-shirt when warm.i dont know the type of pattern,if it looks good to me its ok. the thing is just break up your silhouette.

2009年7月2日 · I am looking to get some new camo this year and just wanted to see what you guys think is the best camo pattern for utah in general if you could choose just one. I have been looking at the outfitter camo pattern at cabelas and I am thinking about getting it for elk and mulie hunting in aspens, pines, and open sage brush.

2008年10月27日 · For cheaper camo check out some Mil-surp stores or the Sportsman Guide, like JR said the best camo is sitten still, there is something the deers vision of blues and ultra voliolets so daon't wash anything in regular detergent cause of the color inhancement does make u shine like a christmas tree.

2010年6月13日 · Obviously camo pattern can change depending upon the time of year, terrain, rock, and vegetation color you are hunting. I usually bring an assortment of camo patterns and set them all out where I'll be hunting. The ones that blend in the best are the ones I use.

2012年9月26日 · Most hunters in the west use WAY too dark of colors. My recommendation would be to bring several different shades of light colors. Stretch them out in the vegetation where you'll be hunting. The one that blends in best use! Another recommendation is to use a different camo pattern on top vs bottoms to break up the human outline.

2007年1月10日 · 1) The branches are more "realistic" but are supposed to be darker than they are (so they would still be the darkest part of the pattern and 2) the blotches are broken into smaller pieces within each main blotch to help break up those large blotches more thus breaking up the overall pattern more. Especially as closer distances.

2018年11月22日 · #2 factor is then camo pattern. Combine woodsmanship and camo pattern and you become consistent in killing deer. Whether you spend $1,500 on your camo or $150 it's a personal choice. Use what works for you. A great camo pattern will help mitigate a lack of general woodsmanship but it cannot overcome it completely. --Mitch

2018年1月23日 · I have a variety of camo. Each area is different and each area changes depending upon the time of year and conditions. If it snows it's always nice to have snow camo. I'd say 90% of hunters wear the same top and bottoms...which doesn't make sense if you are trying to break up the human outline.
