I am looking for the best overall FTB modpack to play with a group of friends. I am looking for plenty of diversity among content, most stable, and a modpack that can be played "long term" if that makes any sense.

You missed FTB Infinity Evolved expert mode. Quite possibly one of the best expert progression modpacks made, and the first I remember that really required you to progress through multiple mods simultaneously and culminating in crafting creative items.

Mar 23, 2022 · The FTB Academy modpacks (there has now been 2 versions, I think) are designed to teach brand new players how mods often work. FTB University teaches slightly more advanced mods, but is the same general concept.
