2022年3月28日 · {{Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim}} is a pretty good combat mod, adding injuries and a bit more lethal damage to gameplay. {{Mortal Enemies}} is really good to have if you want to be able to actually dodge enemy attacks, instead of having to block them or just take it.

I see plenty of mods that turn it into some pseudo Soulsborne with dodging and all sorts of fancy stuff, which isn't so up my alley (albeit I admit, its dang impressive to see!)

There's a mod called {{Plus Combat - A Modern Combat Overhaul}} and I'm using it in tandem with Valhalla and MCO. The end combat system you'll get is a combat system similar to Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, etc. with Valhalla combat's timed blocking system. Unlike Valhalla, you don't get back stamina if you land a hit.

2023年1月17日 · Ordinator Apocalypse still has the most fun, flexible builds, spell sword is usually the most fun build to play due to the variety in combat style. Solo, no follower, legendary difficulty, Dark Souls style. I like EEOS as it is more compatible than most other enemy mods. Add a survival mod like Sunhelm for more flavor. Valhalla for melee combat.

So to me the most important mod for combat IMO is Difficulty MCM or Simply Balanced. The ability to change the damage multipliers on the fly is so useful for getting the perfect balance of lethality you want. Most common criticism of default Skyrim combat is that it turns into a slapping fight. Well, not by doubling or tripling the damage.
