2016年4月4日 · In a C2 & C3 the steering tie rods are behind the axle centerline and steering axis, with the steering components in compression as you drive down the road. The steering tends to toe-out under normal drive and brake forces at the tire patch.

2023年3月12日 · With C2 and C3 it is best to buy replacement front coil springs from Moog. They are a slightly stiffer springrate and as such have a slightly shorter height. They go in easier than the factory originals. Also there is a thing about getting the springs centered in the cup at the top where they go up inside the frame.

The bottom of the rear bumper under the license plate is 14.625″ vs. the 15.14″ stated in the database, which is close. My front comes in at 11.625″ at the middle of the underside of the license/Corvette plate area. This is not even close to the stated 16.73″.

This can be confirmed by placing a string against the tire at the rearmost point and then against the front tire at the very front. If the wheels are pointed straight ahead, the string should sit flat against the inside and outside of both the front and rear tires.
