Aria. Dawn seemed like a badly rehashed collection of rooms. Aria felt like you were indeed exploring a huge terrain, from the ice caves to the gardens, mansions, etc. The music in Aria made it so much more beautiful. Compare the music for the Forbidden Zone in AoS with the Wizardry lab in DoS.

2021年9月25日 · Aria of Sorrow definitely outpaces SotN and ecclesia. The soul system was/is awesome, especially late game. Yeah it’s shorter, has lower fidelity graphics and music due to the platform it was released on, but that’s a dumb thing to mark it down for.

2021年10月12日 · One tip I will give about Aria of Sorrow is that there are two candles in the game that always drop a large amount of money that can be really useful for grinding for money to buy items in the shop. One of the candles is in the Dance Hall and it always drops bags of $500 gold while the other candle is in The Arena and it always drops $1000 gold.

2023年4月13日 · Dawn of Sorrow was huge for me growing up, and I only just played Aria for the first time about a year ago but I obviously love the hell out of it too. I have mods on my 2ds to play just about anything but Aria was one of those games that I really wanted the CiB.

2020年9月28日 · in both Aria of Sorrow and Dawn of Sorrow, the Luck stat barely has an effect on item and soul drop chances; In Aria of Sorrow, it would take thousands of Luck points to increase the item and Soul drop chances significantly. In Dawn of Sorrow, the increases stop at 36 Luck and from there to 99 Luck the item and Soul drop rates go up by 0.03%.

2023年3月31日 · I've beaten SOTN like 100 times, Aria like 20, and it's direct sequel Dawn of Sorrow on the DS like 10 times. IMHO both sorrow games are better than SOTN. Aria was held back by being in the GBA. A powerful handheld for it's time but pales in comparison to the PS2, GAMECUBE, & OF XBOX that were the home consoles at the time of Aria's release
