Silly question but does the power cord matter?
2013年3月10日 · What about using different power supply cables on different power supplies? I switched out my Antec 450 watt for a Rosewill 650 watt but just kept using the Antec's mains cable since I was too lazy to open the bag to get the Rosewill one.

In other cases, there might be some software running that you want to keep up and running, even if the power goes out for a bit.
PC shuts off, have to unplug and plug back in to get it back on
2019年11月2日 · With the system powered on, as soon as I plugged in that old cable into the new power supply, the system would shut off. Power supplies in-cable capacitors, why people dislike them
2019年9月6日 · 3. In-cable caps make their cables more expensive and difficult to replace (no more swapping for cables from a different PSU but same OEM). 4. In-cable caps make cables look fugly if you decide to sleeve them (because you can't sleeve the capacitor bulge). 5. Most PSUs get by just fine without in-cable caps.
