I've been having troubles with my machine's sound settings. I recently switched to a new desk setup, and on my old desk setup, my speakers were working fine. But when I switched to my new desk setup, the speakers became extremely quiet. I can only hear them modestly when I raise my volume to 100% and to max my speaker's volume settings as well.

I have a new motherboard (Gigabyte EP45-DS3L) and am running Vista. I have Bose Companion 2 speakers (just right & left, not surround). I've opened up the Volume Mixer and looked at the speaker info under Control Panel/Sounds. I've also tried Windows Help, but as I have no computer savvy whatsoever, I'm stumped. 2023年6月30日 · My windows 11 computer will make a static sound whenever any audio is playing. This happens both through the builtin speakers and wired headphones, though wireless earphones do just fine. I think it's a software issue, the problem goes away for a short while if I go into the speaker settings and change the audio enhancements.

-Right click the Speakers and click Enable. -Right-click it again and select Set as Default Device. -Right click Speakers and click Properties. -Click the Levels tab, then drag the volume slider towards the largest value. -Click on Advance Tab -Uncheck the box to "Allow Application to take exclusive controls on this device" -Click OK.

2016年3月9日 · Old title: Speakers on permanent mute. My internal speakers do not work. It says they are muted but I can not unmute. I also tried headphones those won't work either.Then I looked for drivers but said I was up to date. Really fed up this is the 3rd issue I have had since the update. Seriously considering switching to Apple.

2022年9月13日 · Computer is: Dell Inspirion 7706 -- 11th Gen Intel Core . I have two JBL Charge 3 speakers that were working with my laptop until... maybe a month ago. (I don't use them on the computer that frequently.) I tried to watch a movie using my speakers and Windows will not recognize any speakers except its internal Realtek speakers.
