Make your text cursor easier to see. Windows 11 lets you change the thickness of the text cursor and add a colorful indicator to make it more visible. If you are using a mouse, select Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Magnifier, and select or unselect the Mouse pointer, Keyboard focus, Text cursor, and Narrator cursor checkboxes according to your preferences. These settings can be selected in any combination you like.

If the device doesn't appear to work at all (no lights appear on the device when it’s plugged in, or the cursor doesn't move or doesn't appear on the screen), connect the device to another PC and make sure the device works on that PC.

Select Settings > System > Display and choose a screen orientation from the drop-down list next to Display orientation. Windows will recommend an orientation for your screen. If you change the orientation of a monitor, you'll also need to physically rotate the screen.
