2024年12月24日 · I wondered if it was perhaps a hybrid, but I'm not sure where (European) Herring gull range begins and ends for various features, and how to ID a hybrid vs simply a variation. Overall it seems to be a peculiar gull. The dark eye is one odd variable, but the structure was also different to the other Herring gull - it stood out for multiple reasons.
