Extreme E is a radical off-road racing series in the most remote corners of the planet impacted by climate change. 8 teams, consisting of one male and one female driver, racing to highlight global issues and inspire the next generation.

The 2024 Extreme E Championship was the fourth and final season of the Extreme E electric off-road racing series, before the transition to hydrogen fuel cell cars for 2025. [1][2] The season was abandoned after only 4 of the planned 10 races. [3] On 21 December 2023, the provisional 2024 season calendar was announced.

The series Extreme E aims to draw the attention of motor racing fans around the world and of politicians, local people and the authorities at the venues to climate change, and encourage them to redouble their efforts to restrict global warming to 1.5°C.
