2023年8月21日 · MP5’s are cool! That should be a good enough reason right there. Didn’t the FBI buy a bunch of semi-auto MP5’s in the late 80’s for field agents? Yes. Initially the 9mm SF (Single Fire). Later a 10mm version with with two shot burst and a LSBHO. (Last Shot Bolt Hold-Open)

2020年12月15日 · The FBI never called the rifle that and, except for the scope mount, the rifle really doesn't have any parts commonality with a M40A1. The scope is different, the stock, trigger, bottom metal, and the cut in the receiver for the scope mount is different.

2022年3月5日 · Just some of the random ammo and other stuff I picked up in my time as a FBI sniper. Notice the part number on the 150gr Core-Lokt… Couple unused data/dope books… It’s hard to tell, but that’s a flat-shoe trigger for the HS Precision rifle that we fooled with for a short while before the Geissele was around. It was never approved for use.

2024年2月21日 · When I went to FBI sniper school 1984, I loaded a bunch of my own ammo. 168 and 180. SMKs over IMR 4895. The 180’s kicked like a mule in Fed brass but shot sub .50 moa. That rifle had a Schneider Poly rifling barrel from McMillan. I miss that rifle One of the instructors had a smear stock M70 with Weaver T10 on it

2020年6月10日 · Right on, and you said the Model 70 used factory metal too correct? Yes. See @Skunk 's reply. Some were all steel, some aluminum trigger guard and steel floor plate. Depended on year obtained. Or what Ray had in spare parts, he preferred the pre-64 steel and stuck a few in from time to time.
