Alexander is an eidolon in Final Fantasy IX that cannot be summoned by the player, but plays a role in the storyline. It takes the form of a winged fortress, among the largest incarnations of any common summon in the Final Fantasy series. It deals extreme holy damage to its adversaries.

2013年3月15日 · Alexander is a Summon Materia found in the Great Glacier by touching the hot springs and then defeating a snow woman who lurks in a nearby cave. Its summon is called Judgment, it costs 120 MP to use, and deals Holy damage to all enemies.

A giant mechanical tank, looking similar to a castle, with four cylinders that act as support structures. It dishes out Holy damage. In FF9, Alexander was the guardian eidolon for Alexandria Castle (it actually WAS part of the castle); however, it was not summonable in battle.

What happened to Alexander, was it killed by Garland? Furthermore, was the jewel destroyed, and what purpose does it serve, or is it solely for summoning Alexander?

2000年11月13日 · You cannot get Alexander as a usable Summon. It's only as a 1-time cutscene Summon. Whoever told you that you could get Alexander lied.

Alexander is the eidolon used by the summoner tribe hundreds of years ago back when they inhabited the Mist Continent. During an experiment, the eidolon went on a rampage.

2024年9月19日 · Final Fantasy 9 was Alexander's first entry with a significant story focus. Though unlike every other Eidolon featured in the game, Alexander can't actually be used. In fact, they're not battled either. Instead, they appear as part of the story when summoned to combat Kuja.
