Go to Download driver and firmware for Surface, choose your Surface device model then click Download on the next page. Choose the .msi file that matches your current OS Build and click Next . After downloading, run and install the .msi then Restart.

Following several help blogs I uninstalled the facial recognition driver in 'biometric devices' in the device manager (see photo). When right clicking/taking action 'scan for hardware changes' it however now no longer INSTALLS. It is also no longer visible in my sign in settings.

2024年10月2日 · The main issue I think with PCI drivers is that this relates to an internal WiFi5 card that I am not using as I have an external WiFi 6 device. In their infinite wisdom HP decided not to support Windows 11 on this device, so there are no further driver updates. Still not sure why Windows Hello, doesn't work under 24H2 as did under 23H2.
