Which GRE prep course (s) are good for this, esp since I don’t have a good foundation? Honestly, if your base is non-existent, as in you never really learned it in the first place, no GRE type course will do a good job (even the one's that claim they can).

2013年8月22日 · Well, I still have to take the GRE and would like to start studying for it as soon as possible. My only question is how to prep for the GRE. I've done some research and it seems like most people recommend taking a practice test first to see where you stand and then going from there (focusing primarily on math and vocabulary).

2014年6月9日 · In my opinion, especially for "good test takers", they're a waste of money. You can learn what you need re: question style from the prep books and study vocabulary independently. Courses just seem like expensive external motivation and if you can't buckle down and study on your own, graduate school might not be the best way for you.

2023年1月23日 · The test prep companies are just making a buck off your anxiety. If the admissions committee suspects that you did something to make your GRE score overestimate your actual knowledge, they may be wary of admitting a cheat.
