2012年4月16日 · In my own opinion the Gedrosia component evolved somewhere in Southeast Caucasus/West Iran and moved into West Europe and Central- South Asia. Another indication for this is that Gedrosia is highest among Baluch people which originated in Northwest Iran and speak a language closely related to Kurdish.

The Gedrosia represents the region around Iran, including also Dagestan, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Pakistan. It was found in Early Neolithic Iran (64%) and among the Steppe pastoralists of the Yamna culture (27%), whose descendants expanded across most of Europe during the Bell Beaker period and the Bronze Age.

2017年4月12日 · The Gedrosia calcs are really bizarre and not in any way accurate as far as recent ancestry. They use a very small amount of snps. The most accurate are Eurogenes and the MDLP K23B. Looking at Eurogenes you look to be French and British Isles. The other calcs are just too bizarre to try and work out recent ancestry.

According to the table above NE hunter gatherers, Yamna and Corded, so every ancient individual from NE Europe had substantial amount of Gedrosia. The most recent of these was Corded Ware who had 21% of it. Fast forward to today and in the same area, they used to live, we have Gedrosia below 1%!
