The proposed Ghost Godzilla and Anguirus fusion has no official name; "Godzirus" is a speculative name coined by Toho Kingdom, and comes from combining Godzilla and Anguirus' names.

Ghost Godzilla is the ghost of the mecha Kiryu (which itself is a cyborg built on the fossilized remains of Godzilla's father). This restless soul came to life after the activation of Kiryu, taking control of the creature and attempting to seek vengeance.
