2021年9月4日 · The older Glocks such as the Gen 2 used tooled steel components (locking block, etc) compared to the cheap MIM parts Glock is using today. Even the finish, look how hard (and easy) a Gen 5 will wear compared to the old FPF. The overall quality is superior with these older Glocks, IMO, and I would prefer those over any Gen 5.

2021年7月18日 · So I'm thinking of a plain Jane 17 Gen 5 but then there's the new DR920 Elite. After adding Ameriglos to the Glock the price difference will be about $350 out the door. I have a plain Gen 3 17 so maybe something different and "Gucci" would be fun. But also the Gen 5 is different enough it would check that box.

2021年11月23日 · I have three Gen 5 G 17. Two of them have eaten all kinds of ammo Tula, Wolf, Blazer aluminum, Blaze Brass. I have not tried reloads yet. I will test the new one Friday and see how it fares. I do remember years ago I had a lot of reloads that would run just fine in my Sig 225; but would jam about every three rounds in a Glock 17.

2025年1月13日 · Im going to get an additional Glock 19 Gen. 5 to my G19.3 I currently use. I'm not planing to add a reddot, since I'm pretty good at shooting with iron sights and see no point why to fix smth that doesn't need to be fixed. Still Im thinking about getting the G19.5 MOS, in case I might change my mind in the future.

We all know every gun owner has lots of extra parts and holsters laying around. My question is can guide rods and springs and the such from Gen 3 or Gen 4 be using it Gen 5?

2017年12月22日 · I've had 2 different answers to my question: Is the Gen 5 "Marksman" barrel's rifling polygonal or conventional? Anthony, from the Glock mothership says poly; other sources say conventional. Being a bullet caster and a Gen 3 model 30 owner, I'm just curious.
