2024年2月26日 · My main desktop motherboard, Erica8 89D8 (AMD B550A chipset), is using a Ryzen 7 5700G, it works fine, but I want to switch to a 5 3600. My other desktop has a B450M A PRO MAX and it supports both of these processors after a bios update and it works fine. BUT the Erica8 89D8 desktop, unfortunately, doesn't seem to boot with the 5 3600.

2021年6月23日 · The issue here isn't the motherboard - it's the PSU. These HP use a weird 10 pin power supply to the motherboard. A normal aftermarket motherboard doesn't support this standard. I think HP does make higher power versions of those PSUs (and they're generally decent - platinum rated) that meet their standards.
