Original box I bought new Dec 2014. Used for a couple outings in my RV. The rest of the time it has been stored in a ham-radio Go-Box. I am a non-smoker and my 857D is in perfect cosmetic and operating condition. Buy one just like it new for… $849 + tax + shipping. Or buy mine for… $595 + no tax + I pay shipping via insured UPS Ground to ConUS.

The radio gets hot when operating at 50W and I solved for this my modifying the go-box so that there is sufficient air flow around the transceiver. All of the other features appear to work well. The automatic switching from analog to digital and vis versa when someone initiates a QSO in the other mode is very smart. Kudos to Yaesu!
