2023年6月7日 · The most useless (but still fun) class I ever took was Aerobic Dance - and I hadn't even signed up for it. My school just decided to assign it to me my junior year even though I already had my P.E. credit. It was an all-girl class and we followed along to 90s workout tapes.

6th grade math. The teacher was horrible at his job and failed most of the class. He also had a few favorites and would ridicule most of my classmates. Toward the end of the school year he informed my father during a meeting that I wasn't going to survive high school. Needless to say, my father had to be escorted out by security.

Best in high school was either graphic design because it was just dicking around on photoshop and playing games when you were done or weightlifting because it was a good introduction to working out. Also the class of 2019 feels so ancient compared to all the following Gen Z graduating classes, as they were the last to have a traditional high school experience as they graduated 9 months before the pandemic started. Most likely everyone in physics with you was the top of their class in high school. In physics and math especially, if you want to be the best, you WILL fail. Even though I am intelligent and did very well as an undergraduate, I am always meeting people that blow my mind with their physics/math ability.

Best was probably a C++ elective in high school. Worst class I've ever taken was a 1-credit mandatory introductory course in college. Every other person in the class was Hispanic, which I didn't realize until the professor came in and started talking to us in Spanish. They somehow enrolled me in the Spanish speaking version of the class.

In high school we had a class that was solely about the Vietnam war. It was a half year elective course that was taught by one of the history teachers (who was a vet of said war). We would have weekly guest speakers that were other vets.

I remember reading Of Mice and Men, The Scarlet Letter, To Kill a Mockingbird, Huck Finn, bits of The Bible, The Great Gatsby, Brave New World, and The Metamorphosis in high school. I hated reading those books (except The Metamorphosis, which I liked quite a bit).
