Switch version is about equal to 768p with low particle effects and medium blur quality settings on the PC. It does run in 60fps but it won't feel as smooth as on either PC or PS4. Loading times are noticeably longer than if you're playing the game on PC on an SSD.

I bought the switch version yesterday. I can't tell what it is, but something feels "off" about timing attacks. Like, Im failing at down stabbing the charging guys, something I've done hundreds of times on PC. It might be becausebIm running the PC version at 144fps vs 60fps on the Switch, but that shouldn't make too much of a difference, right?

The only thing you need is the ability to transfer Hollow Knight's save files from your switch to some external thing, such as an SD card, as mentioned by Dalvas. I use a wired Nintendo Switch Pro controller. Brand new just got it today in the mail. Works fine with the switch and other games. **Edit** It seems it has to do with the analog stick. It doesn't work well with the game. I would suggest using the D-pad. Seems to be running a hell of a lot smoother and no jumping or attacking problems.
