2016年6月30日 · I bought the FRIHETEN about a year and a half ago. Like the title says, I'm thinking about disassembling it so I can put the chaise on the other side. Does anyone have any experience in doing this? I'm mostly concerned about metal stress and moving the fabric to the opposite side of the chaise piece.

2021年9月18日 · I use a flat sheet and tuck it in around the edges. A mattress topper would probably be a good idea too, as per another comment, as the gap where the chaise and the pull out part meets isn't super comfortable to lay on - I prefer having my head along the edge with the armrest which is why it's more noticeable.

2019年8月26日 · Friheten is great. I sold it because it was too big to move 400miles and I regret it. I've slept on it and it's by far the most surprisingly comfortable couch to sleep on.

2022年8月29日 · For the replacement side, I would call around to various Ikeas and see if anyone has had a Friheten shipment come in damaged and if they have any parts. Even if it is the wrong color, it will be the right part and is needed for structural strength. If it's a different color it will probably even look funky cool.
