2012年5月26日 · I had my current set built by a reputable local shop last October and noticed that my 9 iron head was coming loose today while I was playing. I was able to twist it completely off the shaft fairly easily, looks like the epoxy must have failed. Is this common to have happen and should I be concerned about the rest of the set? [/quote]

So on the F7 head if I assume lateral center of gravity is starting out at center of face, the centerline of hosel where the tip weight would be placed is pretty close to 2” away on the money, 14g added to hosel on a head that originally weighs 270g, COG would move approximately .098” toward the hosel.

2025年1月13日 · Club head makers make their heads that 260ish for 6 iron so that when playing standard length and standard 58-60g grip to get a set roughly D1-D2 Sw then of someone uses a Midsize or oversize grip you would need head weight to get back to your SW you like correct?

2011年11月10日 · The Eye 2's were built off a 37.75" 5 iron as measured w/o the grip (about 38" w/grip). Ping maintained that same length until just a few years ago when they extended 1/4" to keep pace with the rest of the industry. Regarding variations in iron head weights, that's indicative of the variation in the castings.

2024年4月29日 · Does anyone know the standard 6 or 7 iron head weight and the difference between clubs? I know the Mizuno specs from first hand experience. For what its worth, I’ve only had one head weight from Vokey regardless of an off the shelf for a quick reshaft to my specs or a custom order. Thanks, in advance, for the help!
