2021年10月29日 · I hadn’t been to Nassau and Junkanoo beach since 2017 and it has really cleaned up nicely. I think b/c the new Margaritaville Hotel is next door they keep it cleaner. There wasn’t litter and trash on the beach like there had been in the past. The water was clean and there were other cruise ship passengers, but it wasn’t packed at all.

2012年5月27日 · Junkanoo is a free beach that is technically in the inner harbour.. so you won't find jet ski's and power boats.. and unless things have changed, you won't find kayaks and paddle boats. Snorkeling is not great.. but ok for the little ones..

2016年6月23日 · I have been reading up on Junkanoo Beach in Nassau. I like the idea of walking there and hanging out at Tiki Bikini Hut. Does anyone know if they rent snorkel equipment around there. I read somewhere about snorkeling by the pier and now I can't find it. Thanks for any info.

BUT no soft sand and the water sometimes gets oily from being so close to where all the ships and boats are the bottom of the water can be hard on feet without water shoes, also if it is a busy day expect litter as people on the beach ...

2011年1月17日 · Junkanoo beach is just outside of town, about 15 minute walk, or a quick cab or jitney ride. #10 Jitney is $1.25 pp. It's in calm waters, crystal clear and turquoise. There are consession stands, restrooms, chair rentals, hair braiding and sometimes even local music.
