So I've been trying to make sense of the Kenpachi vs Gremmy fight in the new season as it was one of the most hyped up fights for this one. I kept thinking why didn't Gremmy not just imagine Kenpachi was as weak as an ant or that his sword was made out of glass or something and instead he kept altering his own physicality and the environment ...

2023年8月28日 · Also considering the vol. 64 featured gremmy and the panel featuring the poem featured the brain.. so, the poem was directed towards his source.. it's a thought of self- introspection which is the true essence of gremmy but he deviated from his true essence because of his long imprisonment..but the encounter with kenpachi changed that.

2021年10月24日 · Personally, I would have it changed from Kenpachi vs Gremmy to the gotei 13 vs Gremmy. Hell, maybe even include the sternritter here just because they hate Gremmy too. It was stated that Gremmy had difficulty focusing on multiple targets at once so I was expecting something like this to happen during the fight but nothing came of that plot point.

Then Gremmy pulls a page out of Madara's book o' tricks and sends down a giant meteor to destroy the Seireitei. Which is when Kenpachi reveals his shikai *Nozarashi and breaks it to pieces in one hit. Gremmy gets even madder and makes more clones.

2016年12月17日 · Kenpachi is a transcendent being. Gremmy tried to put that power into himself. Kenpachi himself had trouble with that power and his own fucking body broke. Gremmy copied that 1 to 1. It's actually foreshadowing in a way. Gremmy just didn't get that even Kenny wasn't strong enough for his full power and Gremmy went above and beyond that.

2023年9月24日 · I've seen some people say the fight was dumb, or Gremmy's power is stupid & broken and he could've just imagined Kenpachi being dead. Personally, I loved the fight, and it was in my opinion one of the best fights in the series. Firstly, I really don't think Gremmy's imagination is infinite. Let's say you were Gremmy and you were fighting Kenpachi.

Gremmy almost kills himself when Kenpachi scared the shit out of him. His power almost killed him because he imagined he was going to die. The real issue is that they ignore Gremmy, as a character, and focus only on the power. They ignore that Gremmy didn’t autokill Kenpachi when he first appeared because Gremmy is arrogant and sadistic.

2023年8月21日 · Yeah, that's not true. Maybe small panels were removed throughout the fight. Dialogue from Gremmy primarily, but also some from Kenpachi. About 80% of the Askin scene was really moved. The panels of shinigami reaction to Kenpachi was cut down, etc.
