The Lakers had a more balanced roster that could adjust its size based on the matchup. Everybody knew their role (except Kuzma), so they were all locked in. Vogel is a good defensive coach, so LeBron and AD can make up for any offense issues.

The roster included Julius Randle, Kyle Kuzman, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Brook Lopez, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram, Jordan Clarkson, Lonzo Ball, Ivica Zubac, Larry Nance Jr. and Alex Caruso. If you want to include the old washed players; Isaiah Thomas, Corey Brewer, and Channing Frye were on that team as well.
